10 years later…
This website has come a long way since it was first published many years ago. The late nights I spent working on it back in 2016, as a young architecture student trying to showcase quirky first-year projects online, hand-writing the website buttons, scanning the best-looking one after many attempts.
I’ve always been someone who needs to tinker and play around with things. The website builder I was using at the time helped me put something up in just a few days: an embarrassing “about me” text on the homepage, a Works page with a handful of projects, a CV page ready to be lengthened in the years to come, and a Social page linking to an Instagram account I barely use.
Despite how little content there was, I was so happy once it was up and running. Those who know me well know that I rarely share much online, which is why keeping and updating a personal website might seem like the exact opposite of how I tend to be. But rather than the end result, it’s the process (and what I learn from it) that excites me.
Through many redesigns over the years, I’ve experimented with different styles and formats. I guess my style is now more schematic than before, but the attention to detail remains, as always.
I’ll be honest: I’m not entirely sure how much work I’ll actually end up putting on here. But, as I said, it’s the journey that matters most to me, not the destination.
